Fabric lamps handmade in Sweden
A lamp from Lampverket is genuine Swedish craftsmanship through and through. Lamp frames made of hand-welded steel, lacquered with the highest quality paint. Lampshades, hand-sewn in organic GOTS-certified cotton or beautiful recycled fabrics. Ceiling lamps and lampshades for walls and tables – with a love for the timeless and the Swedish wilderness, we create lamps that last a long time.
Handmade fabric lamps
Our popular fabric lamps are handmade in Sweden, from start to finished lamp. The lamp shade frames are welded by experienced hands in a small workshop not far from us. There, they are then powder-coated in an oven using the best quality paint on the market. In the kindest way possible, both for the artisan and for our nature. When it is time to cover the lamp shades with fabric, we choose GOTS-certified organic cotton. Some lamp shades we call Vintage. They are covered in beautiful, upcycled fabric that has been washed in eco-friendly soap. All of our fabric lamps fit well in any room, but those with a slightly more playful shape look extra nice in a child's room. They are, of course, just as carefully crafted and just as eco-friendly as all our lamps, and can be found under Children's lamps in the menu.
Large fabric lamps
A really large lamp becomes a fine detail that provides an extra experience in the room. Our large pendant lamps are available up to 80 cm in diameter and are just as nice to hang high in the middle of a room as they are over a table. The light-colored fabrics we use to cover the lamp frame provide a soft and comfortable light. Thanks to the neat design, the lamp feels light, almost like a cloud, even though it takes up space in terms of size. Just like in all our lamp shades, we use organic GOTS-certified cotton fabrics even for the really large fabric lamps. And just like all our other lamp frames, these are also handmade with great care. Choose a lamp cord in the color that best suits your particular room.
